Looking for Your Support
This request comes a little earlier than usual, but my clients have always been an amazing support in my effort to raise awareness in the fight against bladder cancer. You all know, my step dad David was diagnosed 20 years ago and has been incredibly active and influential with Bladder Cancer Canada. In fact, David and his cofounder Jack Moon have just received the Governor General’s Meritorious Service Medal for their service to Canada’s bladder cancer community. The dedication of these two individuals, is one of the reasons I annually fundraiser for the Bladder Cancer Awareness Walk.
The Bladder Cancer Canada Awareness Walk by far is the largest fundraising event of the year for this community. Last year BCC surpassed their fundraising goal of $550,000 and this year the walk fundraising goal has increased to $650,000. This year, I will be walking on my step father’s team Mellow Yellow and I am hoping we raise enough money to be the top team in the GTA!
Donating is easy! I have attached a link to my donation page. However a donation in time is also greatly appreciated. If you would like to come out and help with step up or walker enrollment please reach out to me over the next few weeks. Toronto’s walk day is Sunday September 24th, 10:30am at Sunnybrook Park- Wilket Creek Park. There is also space on Team Mellow Yellow if you would like to register and walk with me.
